Preparations under way.

Preparations for going to Norway are fully under way! (and i would hope so; I leave in 10 days). I spent the day shopping yesterday. I bought all that stuff I've not needed in probably more than ten years.
GB to EU plug adapters.
Shorts.
Swim shorts, goggles and flip-flops.
Hiking shoes.
A couple t-shirts and socks.
Sunglasses.
A couple of books for the flight and lounging around by the beach.
This whole thing is weird for me. I don't leave the country. I barely leave my bedroom, let alone the house or the country.
One thing that struck me, re-reading my friends invitation to this wonderful looking log cabin in the middle of the Norway countryside, is that my friend wants to get quite drunk. In Norway.
Clearly he doesn't realise how expensive that is to do in scandanavian countries.
Oh well; it'll be a fun little discovery for him, huh?

On an unrelated note, as much as I would have liked to post tomorrow to make up for thursdays missed day I have a family barbeque to attend and... host... so I'm going to be unavailable unless something relevant happens.
